Steve's Cutlery began when owner Stephen L. Pryor started making
knives after retiring from the mining/trucking industry in 1991.
A stock removal maker crafting knives one at a time from his
shop nestled in the foothills of the Ozarks, Steve prefers to
use natural handle materials, such as stag, stabilized exotic
woods, and reconstituted stone in his designs.
The steel choices you will find can range from 1085 high carbon
spring steel to ATS-34 stainless, and occasionally Damascus.
We offer a variety that is sure to please and is right for each
field application. We make them all, from utility and skinning
knives to fillet knives, daggers and bowies. Our sizes range
from small to large fixed blade designs.
CUSTOM
ORDERS
We frequently accept custom orders with special requirements,
such as full tapered tangs, filework and various inlays. We
always strive to find the perfect balance of performance, overall
feel, and appearance of each knife we create. Custom order options
are highly varied and flexible. We will work with you to help
you develop the right knife for your needs.
You are encouraged to contact us to discuss your special project,
as we may have ideas or special materials in stock that are
not listed on this site.

Our commitment to satisfy provides our customers with a full
guarantee ... every knife bought from Steve's Cutlery is fully
guaranteed against defects, and will be replaced free of charge
as long as we are able to produce knives.
WHOLESALE
Selling wholesale to sporting goods stores and knife shops can
be arranged by special agreement. Several of our clients have
also found our custom knives to be excellent for company safety
awards, club fund raisers, show vendors, etc. Those interested
